Tech Tip #201

How to design a sample package that dispenses contents in a small, steady stream

Consider using an enhanced packet style package as a self-contained, low-cost delivery system for controlled dispensing of viscous liquids:

  1. Die-cut spout orifice with a narrow neck opening
  2. Sealed-end spout

Pouch packets can be large or small to accommodate whatever size sample you have. The die-cut spout orifice is available as an option for use in designing standard flat, card-mounted, or stand-up pouches.

3-D thermoformed sample package provides extra rigidity and control for easy handling.
