Why Sample?
 
  • Getting a consumer to try your product is the first step towards changing his brand preference. A free sample, or low-cost convenience trial package, creates a no-risk opportunity to test your product (without forcing the consumer to make an active decision to abandon a product he relies on).

  • Miniature sample packages offer the same brand building graphics, shape, and dispensing presentation that reinforce the decision to make a full-size retail purchase.

  • Samples are received as "gifts" and as such, are valued--and used.

  • It is easier to get consumer trial on a small unit of use package than it is to have consumers purchase and test a full-size retail package.
